The River Collection, Part I: The Yough
Hidden in the rolling green hills of Maryland is the Youghiogheny River, or the Yough for those unwilling to face all of those syllables. I sat in the back of the 15-passenger van as we cruised through the mountains of Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia until we crept over the border into Maryland and arrived at the cabin tucked away on the edge of the woods. This hat encompasses the simplicity of The Road. The scenery, the music, and the camaraderie of being on vacation with your best friends.
The Yough hat fits loosely, has a slight slouch in the back, and the brim can be worn flat or slightly rolled. It’s perfect for those cool, late September mornings with a cup of coffee while you’re waiting for the water to be released. In the evenings after running all of the tight, creeky rapids, the Yough Hat is in the truck and ready for an evening around the fire with the fam.
